Hello
Hope all is well and the longer days are good for you - they are good for me for sure!
Last time, I mentioned that I had produced a book proof, Capeli, that brings together a selection of my work on chapels in west Wales. Over the last couple of months I have added two new book proofs to this - Mynydd which brings scrutiny to a contemporary Welsh landscape melding historical imagination with environmental urgency, and Gorl(l)ewin that reflects on similarities between Wales and Cornwall and their shared sense of restless spirituality that borders on the uncanny. You can find short videos that run through all three books on my Instagram feed - please take a look.

The printing and editing for these books has been enormously useful as I’m moving into new points of focus. That said, I may add a few more chapels and rock outcrops to the collection in the future... The Wales/Cornwall work is complete as it related to a specific period of time for me between 2012 and 2018. So, the new work is very much underway although the thinking/research relating to it is still very much in development - I will keep you updated.
I am keen for all the works from west Wales to reach audiences either through exhibition or publication - these are all new works in that sense. Please let me know if you would like to collaborate to make such things happen. I’m also keen to talk about the making of new work with creatives, artists, writers, thinkers, publishers, gallerists and the many others who produce good things. The studio here is open as a place to talk and look at work (by arrangement) - more details on this will follow shortly. But please give me a shout!
Until next time, take care.
Paul
